Hi! My name is Adam Wilson, and I am a bread baker. Running Stone Bread represents my attempt to produce food with the utmost integrity and beauty.
Thanks to Andrew Heyn at New American Stone Mills, I have a new mill that I am using to mill all of my flour fresh each week at the bakery. The mill has two 26" granite stones that transform whole grains into fresh, aromatic flour...just hours before I mix it into dough. All of the breads are naturally fermented and then baked in a custom wood-fired bread oven.
You can find me Saturdays at the Burlington Farmer's Market in City Hall Park, 8:30am until 2pm May through October. This year I will be missing the first markey on 5/13, but vending weekly starting 5/20. I also deliver bread to the following retail stores:
Jubilee Farmstand(Huntington Center)
Family Cow Farmstand(Hinesburg)
Trillium Hill Farm Stand(Hinesburg)
All varieties of bread(see list below) are delivered Friday afternoons(by 5:00 pm) and can be found on the shelf through Monday. City Market and Healthy Living also have a limited selection of bread for sale during the week(delivered Tuesday morning), including: 3 Seed, German Rye, Wunder Bread, Sprouted Grain, and Polenta.

I will be doing a limited bake on 5/5 (no made without gluten breads or polenta breads) and then I will be closed on Friday 5/12. Full production and delivery schedule resumes Friday 5/19.
